Operations Manager – Lining Division

Assist Services has an immediate opening for an Operations Manager to lead our liner division located out of Eighty Four, PA. This position will report directly to the President of the company and direct the day to day operations of our growing containment division. This division primarily operates on the east coast, but also performs work nationally based on customer demands. We specialize in landfills and oil and gas pads.

Job Located in Eighty Four, PA. Candidate must be willing to relocate.
Experience/Qualifications
· 5+ years experience in containment industry
· 10+ years experience in operations
· Excellent communication skills in person, on the phone, and in email
· Organized and goal-oriented team player
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
· Flexible to work based on demands of business with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
· Fast paced work ethic
Responsibilities:
· Take decisive action and initiate plans to address problems within the division and achieve goals
· Supervises operations team to assure sound operations. Addresses the root cause of systemic issues rather than symptoms. Provides leadership and direction to the team by coaching and providing overall direction in alignment with the mission and vision of Assist Services
· Work in conjunction with the Human resources department to hire competent personnel and develop policies and procedures to retain employees
· Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment
· Work alongside a vast group of individuals to solve complex problems as they arise while maintaining Assist Services’ high standard of quality
· Communicate with customers and operations team regarding any project changes
· Regularly evaluate efficiency of existing procedures according to Company objectives and apply improvements where necessary
· Help to provide guidance on bids, estimation of projects, and manage efficiencies surrounding projects
· Promote a positive work environment, a teamwork mentality, and encourage constant learning regarding the nature of the industry and the work we accomplishing
· Attend company and industry events
Salary: $120,000-150,000 with discretionary bonuses
